Getting the band back together

We're really happy there is so much interest in a reunion of our WCAMS group, and back by popular demand - we're thrilled to have Andrew Mee as our mentor and facilitator.

This time - Salt Spring

With its blend of rustic countryside, picturesque bays and charming small-town atmosphere, what better than the artists-focused island paradise of Salt Spring to host an event like ours?

It's all about you

We want this event to be collaborative so we all get something meaningful from it.

Our proposed goals of the retreat (aside from a fun reunion and a chance to geek out with your WCAMS horn family, of course) are to:

  • Refine tone, intonation, and technique.
  • Improve ensemble and section playing.
  • Explore musical expression and interpretation.
  • Prepare for horn ensemble or choir performances at WCAMS
  • Foster camaraderie and motivation among adult learners.
